Growth industries in Michigan have been determined by Pure Michigan as the automobile, advance manufacturing, defense, information technology, water technology, medical devices, food processing, logistics and supply chain.
In the Huron Township, Michiganarea all of these industries can be found in the Local Development Finance Authority district. The growth in Huron Township is apparently due to the strides of its local LDFA and Township community who have embraced manufacturingin their region. LDFA1, a prime area off 275 and Huron River Road has added over 800 jobs this past year and a new LDFA2 district has been opened in the township off 275 and Sibley Road area, previously the Pinnacle Race Track area.
The reason for growth in this community has largely been the friendly and cooperative efforts of the group to extend a warm welcome as well additional incentives for moving to the area. LDFA businesses have benefited from capital financing for Class A water and sewer, surface road construction and energy assistance. “There are many opportunities within this LDFA district,” said Huron Township LDFA Chairman, R.P. Lilly. “”We really try to help our potential neighbors navigate through paperwork and processes.”
The Township is located in Wayne county, close to railroad and Detroit Metro International airport with convenient access to I-75 and I-275 expressways. For more information about available properties from 10-400 acres contact www.hurontwpldfa.com
