Manufacturing Plant Awaits New Owners

Over 380,000 square feet of space awaits a new owner on Bell Road. It was previously the Chrysler Mopar Plant but now is available for lease to the right business. It is directly off I-275 and has great drive by visibility. It is approximately 10 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport. The Local Development Finance Authority envisions a great fit with an environmental manufacturer or high technology enterprise.

Some features include: high efficiency fire suspension and powered for 2500 Amps, 440Volts and 3-Phases. It holds 96 trailer staging stops, 29 Truck wells and 2 Grade Doors. Parking is available for 210 vehicles. It would be possible to expand the building to an additional 123,728 square feet. Another unique feature includes an explosive proof storage area for businesses dealing with these types of materials.

Since the property is located within LDFA boundaries, owners can take advantage of many benefits.

“We have helped other businesses install property water, sewers and utilities.” Stated LDFA Chairman Mr. R.P. Lilly. “We want potential owners to know about all the benefits they can take advantage of when they move into an LDFA zone and our commission is willing to work hard and graciously for new business in our Township.”
