The Huron Township is run by the efforts of a board of directors who care about the community and business that goes on in the community. The Local Development Finance Authority of Huron Township exists to provide public improvements necessary or desirable to facilitate, promote and sustain industrial development within the established district.
Mr. William Hunter, General Manager at Brose, New Boston presented an update of the Brose facility expansion to the Huron Township Local Development Finance Authority at their September board meeting.
The expansion which resulted in the purchase of the adjacent property was in response to a projected 400% increase in their seat business. The plan includes a vertical integration with an automated high bay, a 1,000 meter paint line, employee locker rooms, additional parking for 600 new employees, preparation space for five hundred hot, employee meals and an on-site daycare facility.
