Officials are optimistic that a new park overlooking the Huron River in downtown New Boston will spur private investment in the area.
The Board of Trustees approved a bid process for Riverside Park Wednesday. John Enos, community development director, expects the first phase of the park to be complete in time for Applefest in September. The park is on a quarter-acre site along Huron River Drive.
The first phase, which will cost up to $70,000, will include seating areas, landscaping and a pathway by the river.Read More
